Sandhills Endurance Horse Race Winners
from Leatherwood
Here's the picture of the big winners representing
Leatherwood Mountains at the Sandhills Endurance Race this
past weekend. Left to right are Sharon Becker, who placed
seventh in the 25-mile ride and second in "Best Condition"
for the 25-mile horse; Abbie Sanders, who placed seventh in
the 50-mile ride and eighth in the "Best Condition" for the
50-mile horse; and Joan Rash, who placed third in the
50-mile ride, and won "Best Condition" for the 50-mile
horse. These were some worn out, but happy girls. They did
really well, and it was great to have such a good
representation for Leatherwood.
