full service boarding accommodations for your horseback
riding trip, that cater to the
weekend guest or the full time resident. Horse &
riders travel from miles around to ride on our amazing
North Carolina horseback riding
trail system during your horseback riding trip. We have something for every type of
rider here at Leatherwood. The horseback riding trails range from easy
wide forest paths to rugged mountain trails. Chances
are after one visit to Leatherwood's "Horse Country" you
will be hooked!
Facilities include 60 stalls, show arena and round pen.

Leatherwood
is proud of Lizzy who just received top honors as
the first student to achieve a level 2 & 3 training
certification from "Meredith Manor International
Training Center". Lizzy teaches horsemanship
lessons for Leatherwood & Private advanced training
for riders who are ready to take it to next level.
Lizzy is a great friend & asset to Leatherwood
Mountains & we are very proud of her achievements!
