June 2010 Guest Review With a nesting wren out the front door, a soaring bald
eagle out the back, the call of whip-poor-wills, early
morning mists and a late evening crescent moon hovering just
over the mountain tops, this has been a forty-ninth
honeymoon to treasure forever.
We have traveled to all fifty states. Leatherwood has truly
provided the most friendly and care-free atmosphere we have
found.
Thank you for treating us "like family" and allowing us to
bring our dog Kristy. We have tried to return the favor and
leave everything as nice as we found it.
Please take care of the rather nervous little wren who also
chose this cabin (outside front porch wreath) for her family
- she's working on a brood of five...
